REFRESHING AND NEW ASSISTED LIVING COMMUNITY

We recently had the opportunity to work on The Georgian Lakeside, a brand new assisted living and memory care community located just outside Roswell, GA. Our goal in regards to the landscape design was to promote a sense of environmental wellness that also reflected a sense of personal wellness. We designed an approach that maximized not only the existing natural landscape, but also the community’s greatest outdoor amenity: the lake. Read more about The Georgian Lakeside.

OUR TEAM IS GROWING

We’re excited to introduce two new team members to Land Concern!

Mico’s strong beliefs in creating meaningful work and what’s possible in the world are what led him to pursue a career in Landscape Architecture. He believes that this profession allows him to be part of a global community that is taking steps to create a brighter future. Currently a student at UCLA Extension (while also working as a landscape designer at Land Concern!) he is enthusiastic for the opportunity to bring knowledge from his studies and work experience to the professional realm. He aspires to finish school in the coming year and will prepare for the licensing exam to become a licensed Landscape Architect.

Richard graduated from Cal Poly Pomona in 2010 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture. After graduation he joined a landscape construction company and learned how to bid and manage projects. While in school he discovered the joy of developing an idea into a drawing and then watching it come into fruition. He was fascinated by this, especially when he realized he could do it, too. From his first job where he saw a project come to life from paper drawings to reality, he knew he had found his place.  He now enjoys being part of the creative process and helping bring the clients’ visions into reality.
