The design direction for The Hangout focused on establishing a majestic space for young families at Esencia at Rancho Mission Viejo. Using the landscape’s scenic beauty and color scheme as inspiration, Land Concern effortlessly balanced stylish amenities with natural surrounds, bridging together a lifestyle defined by comfort, connectivity and vitality.
The Hangout, located in the Escencia village near The Garage, pulls you in from the start. This communal gathering space simultaneously enhances the sense of place and evokes the senses. Three heritage oak trees, adorned with chandelier lighting, create an enchanted ambiance and provide coverage for The Hangouts rare gem – an aquatic oasis.
Residents are encouraged to enjoy a thoughtfully designed space, where multi-level ponds with built-in fountains and fireside lounges provide the perfect atmosphere for just about everything. To further expand this site’s communal gathering capabilities, custom y-shaped dining tables make room for new memories and everyone on the guestlist.
