Mico Lazaro

Landscape Designer

Mico has always had a strong interest in graphic design, environmental sustainability, and community wellbeing which led him into the profession of Landscape Architecture. He believes that this profession will allow him to be part of a community that is taking steps toward shaping a brighter and greener future. Mico has strived to accumulate every relatable experience that can enhance his professional growth. From working in plant nurseries gaining valuable horticulture knowledge, to landscape construction learning on-site technical construction skills and joining Land Concern, Mico endeavors to learn all he can about his chosen profession.

Since joining Land Concern, Mico has been responsible for providing the team with design and technical assistance in conceptual and construction drawing phases of projects.

Mico is currently a student at the UCLA extension program for Landscape Architecture and is enthusiastic at the prospect of integrating his academic knowledge with professional and practical applications. He aspires to finish school in the current year and prepare for the California State exam to become a licensed Landscape architect.
